4 In (10cm) Paring Damascus steel paring knife

A beautiful handmade 4″ (10cm) knife with a Damascus steel blade and a handle made from wood.

The blade is wide and curved to enable a rocking motion when cutting.

This knife does not get many views on the Etsy platform, which I find a curious thing because it is a lovely knife. Slightly different, but a really nice knife. If you buy it, I’m sure you will be glad you did.

It is a general-purpose knife, ideal for cutting vegetables and a range of other kitchen tasks.

The handle is handmade using handsaws, rasp files, and lots and lots of sandpaper. The bolster is a solid piece of brass – also handmade by us.

The handle has been soaked for many hours in natural Tung oil and then polished with beeswax.

The handle is designed to be comfortable to use in the preparation of food. The shape of the handle is specifically designed to feel good in the hand.

  1. Kofibo

This small paring knife is razor-sharp and versatile, making it ideal for slicing fruits, vegetables, or small cuts of meat. Their wooden handle is both ergonomic and visually appealing, and the knife comes in a beautiful gift box. A great choice for home cooks or as a thoughtful gift.

  2. Yesaj

This is a nice pairing knife. A cut above (pun intended) the cheap ones you can buy at the grocery store. The Damascus steel isn’t that pronounced but is visible. I don’t think I would buy it just for that feature. If I bought the whole set of matching knives it would help influence me though. Their handle looks nice and I didn’t see any flaws. Over all it’s a nice knife.

  3. Bisoyo

This Small paring Knife is not only pretty but is also very sharp and perfect for pealing and cutting vegetable dices. I also use it for cutting meat for stews and soups. I was attracted to it immediately, with its layered steel and their handle. The handle is larger in diameter than most small knives. It is so much easier for my arthritic hands to hold. It is the length that I needed to complete my cooking knife collection. I am so happy with this beautiful knife.
