his paring knife is made from super stainless steel called CPM-S30VN. Its edge retention and toughness is very high. All the benefits of carbon steel while being stainless. The handle is Bubinga wood and brass. Bubinga is a very naturally resilient wood and lovely to work with. The shape of the handle gives a better grip for those intricate jobs. This knife is tough enough to be an EDC and hold up to farm work! The blade shape is meant to mirror the thumb for an intuitive feel. Knives that last a lifetime are worth having.
